The Wildest Dream – Conquest of Everest

In 1924, George Mallory and Sandy Irvine made an ill-fated attempt to summit Mt. Everest, nearly 30 years before it was officially recognized as being summited by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. Then, nearly 80 years later, an experienced team of Mountaineers lead by Conrad Anker went back to Everest to find George Mallory’s body. What they found, and the events that unfolded afterwards, is a story for the ages in mountaineering.
